Travel back to the days of knights and the Crusades! Authentically costumed nights - Sir William Lancaster and Sir James Bamford - enlist your students to be with them on a Crusade and learn about the world of chivalry and the customs, challenges, and quests of this colorful time in history. Included in the program is a student-interactive review of the training of a knight; display and discussion of Medieval armor and weapons; insight into the geography of the Crusades; and, information about castles and their fortification.

Additional Information

Provided with the program is a post-program learning worksheet for classroom use. Knights can be part of a student Medieval Faire or Banquet, or perform a "knighting" for reading programs, etc.
