THE MYSTERY SHOP is a traveling theatre specializing in adult and children's interactive mysteries and programs. We excite the mind as well as the funny bone.

Middle School and High School students will love one of our adult mystery programs, which offer wonderful opportunities for critical thinking.

When a terrible crime is committed, it’s up to your students to bring the killer to justice. Hosting a MYSTERY SHOP event is EASY – you provide the “scene of the crime” and we’ll do the rest!

For smaller groups, Prime Suspect is always a hit. You don’t just watch this performance, you experience it through total audience participation. One thing is certain - a murder has been committed and you’re involved. Audience members participate in an auction, bidding with Mystery Shop money. Based on your bids and investments, facts about a murder surface. Can your students discover the prime suspect?

Our Murder in Three Acts is a real killer. The scene of the crime is set by our professional actors in scripted acts full of intrigue and innuendo. But the fun is just beginning as the first act ends. Now you’re on the case as you question suspects, examine evidence, and “buy” insider information. With the arrival of the second act, the plot thickens, as does the continuing murder investigation. Act Three brings the solution with culprit, motive and method. Everything wraps up with the announcement of the winners, including the envied title of the Master Sleuth.

With a variety of fun scripts, your event is guaranteed to be a killer.

Our programs are ideal for Grades K-2, Grades 3-6, middle schools, high schools and adults. A history mystery, mystery workshops, storytelling and storytelling enrichment programs complete our mysterious “line-up.”
