Students testing the strength of their structure

Hands-on structure building workshop incorporates basic principles of structural strength, then has small teams of students build a structure to test with the mighty crusher board. The ratio of weight of the structure to the weight held provides practical application of math.

Additional Information

This workshop requires use of weights and crusher board and other materials. This workshop can be lengthened or combined with our science or theater workshops for a full day off school event.
