In “Trickster Tales and Magic” children journey around the world and meet clever mischievous heroes from distant lands and nearby neighbors. Learning is made fun through the power of magic, storytelling, audience participation, and a sprinkling of circus arts. We’ll meet Loki from Norway, Krishna from India, and Raven from North America, who all teach us a little bit about individuality and cultural diversity. Magic is used as a means to provide old world special effects for ancient stories. Myths and magic are geared to empower children’s creativity by placing magic in their hands, making them heroes.
